Our individual therapy sessions are designed to help clients navigate a wide range of behavioral, emotional and mental health challenges. We utilize evidence-based treatments to help individuals develop effective problem solving and healthy coping skills in order to work towards their identified goals.
Many individuals and family need assistance understanding the Special Education process and consultation to insure their children are provided with the most effective interventions at school. Comprehensive guidance for the development of your child's individualized education plan is available. School based support services and community-based interventions reviewed. Comprehensive overview of 504 Plans provided. Accommodations available for college age individuals. Expertise in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Developing and understanding of the challenges faced by children, teens and adults is the goal of Diagnostic Evaluations. Behavioral and emotional challenges must be examined with each individual and with full consideration of the family, school, work and social networks each person is a member of, in order to properly design impactful interventions.
Our couples therapy sessions help partners deepen their connection, improve communication, and resolve conflicts. We work with couples to identify patterns of behavior that may be causing distress and provide tools to help them build a stronger, healthier relationship.
Our family therapy sessions are designed to help families build stronger relationships, improve communication, and develop problem solving skills. We believe that every family has unique strengths, and we work with families to identify those strengths and build on them to create a more positive and supportive family environment.
Supervision is provided to predoctoral and post doctoral candidates who are completing their training as psychologists. Training in working with individuals and families who carry a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder is available for medical, educational and mental health professionals.
Training for individuals, families, professionals and college students are available in a variety of topics and formats. Conference participation is available. Workshops are available on various topics including but not limited to: Therapeutic intervention, Behavioral Supports and Intervention, Functional Behavioral Assessment, Special Education. Individualized Education Plans and 504 processes and procedures. Specialized instruction and intervention for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. When to seek psychiatric or medical intervention for emotional and behavioral challenges.
Our telehealth sessions are available to provide continuity of care when in person sessions cannot be attended. Individuals can receive quality mental health care from the comfort and convenience of their own home. We utilize a secure and easy-to-use platform to provide clients with a safe and confidential space to discuss their concerns and work towards their goals.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that focuses on examining and changing patterns of thinking and behavior. At Navigate Mental Health, one of our primary interventions is CBT. Patient education, mindfulness practices, family systems and trauma informed interventions are also utilized. Individuals learn to advocate on their own behalf across all walks of life in order to improve overall functioning.
Psychologists hold a doctoral degree in psychology and provide therapy and counseling services. Psychiatrists hold a medical degree and are trained to diagnose and treat mental health disorders with medications, in addition to providing therapy.

We understand that life can get in the way of scheduled appointments. We ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Otherwise, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
